Downtown Leesburg 4th of July Parade

We are participating in the 2025 Downtown Leesburg 4th of July Parade, and we want your kids (and/or you) to join! Whether your child has joined one of our events, plans to join in the future, or you just believe in our mission and want to help promote our league, we want you there! We will be walking and skating to hand out candy, popsicles, and flyers to parade attendees. 

Kids, parents, siblings, adult players, skaters, and walkers are all welcome! If you are a parent who just wants to watch the parade, that is ok too, but we do need 1 adult per 10 kids, so please consider joining us if you are able. We will communicate drop-off/pick-up locations as we get closer to the event. I will drive a decorated SUV that will be available for our younger kids who may need a break, and water will also be available. 

Date: July 4, 2025

Where: Meet at Ida Lee Park - 60 Ida Lee Dr NW, Leesburg, VA 20176

When: Arrive by 9:15am - Parade starts at 10am

What to wear: Skates and a helmet or walking shoes. We will have 4th of July themed EIH shirts for all participants. Be prepared for the heat, so neck fans or cooling towels would be a good idea too.

We are very excited and REALLY hope to see you all there for this fun and exciting community event for all ages! If you can't join in this year but plan to attend the event, be sure to keep an eye out for us and cheer us on - Go Elite! :)
